First Girls Night Out🫶🏼🥹

My first girls night out after giving birth wasn’t exactly how I planned it or expected to go. Don’t get me wrong I had fun and had a very needed drink! My friends took me to a rooftop bar then to a drag show were I danced and sang my heart out!🥹💁🏻‍♀️

But I didn’t know how sometimes anxiety and mom guilt can affect your mood or even night! Thank God my friends were really understanding, (it was my first time without my baby too) but even my husband had to tell me to have fun 🥲 😭

I wished somebody would have given me a heads up about how horrible “MOM GUILT” can be sometimes.

I ended up going to the bathroom, cried, said a couple affirmations to myself, took a deep breath, FaceTimed my baby to check if she’s fine lol, and went back at it again.

🪷And I just want to remind #momsoflemon8 that mom guilt exists and sometimes can be inevitable, but our SELF CARE and MENTAL HEALTH are essential for healthy & stable parenting!
