My Money Organization!!

I have 5 main accounts that I use to organize my money:

1. Checking Account: Just a normal checking account! This is where I pay normal bills and where my paycheck gets deposited. This account has a very low interest rate, so I don't keep much money here at all.

2. HYSA: I opened this account through Capital One. They offer a high interest rate for literally just storing your money there, so this is a great place to park your savings. This is where I keep my emergency fund and money for my other savings goals.

3. 401k. I have money automatically deducted from my paycheck and contributed into my 401k. My employer matches 4%, so I always make sure to invest at least that amount.

4. Roth IRA. Another great account for investing for retirement. After I've met my 401k match, I prioritize investing in this account. Trying to invest the $7,000 maximum this year!

5. Brokerage. This is my bottom priority when it comes to investing. This is great if you're maxing out your retirement accounts or want to invest for other goals than retirement. But again, not my priority right now.
