How I Save Money in My 20s

Here are 3 tips that have made saving money SO MUCH EASIER:

1. Tracking My Spending: This one isn't fun or glamorous, but it sure does work. Before I started doing this, I really had no idea how much I was spending or where my money was going. So it was no surprise that I wasn't able to save any money! But once I started tracking what I spent, I was able to find areas I could cut back that opened up room for me to save.

2. Storing My Money at a Separate Bank: This was such a simple change that had a big impact. It's so much harder to spend money that is at a whole separate bank. If the money is in my checking account, I'm way more tempted to spend it. But when it's stored elsewhere, it's harder to access and therefore.... I don't!

3. Automatic Transfers: Again, this is such a simple change that will have such a big impact. I have weekly transfers into my Capital One account from my checking account. That way, I'm saving without even thinking about it. Highly recommend doing this!!
