Bangkok for 2 days and Phuket for 4 days, including flights, hotels, island hopping tours, and other expenses shared with a companion, totaling 8486 RMB—an average of 4243 RMB per person. Last time, I shared a detailed breakdown, and many friends asked me for a travel guide, so I quickly put this together for you. Here’s a comprehensive guide covering food, accommodation, transportation, and activities.

✈️ Essentials Before You Go 🧾:

⭐Passport

⭐ID card

⭐Thai SIM card

⭐SIM card ejector tool

⭐10,000 baht

⭐sunscreen

⭐slippers

⭐clothing as needed

Don't worry about toiletries—they’re all available at 7-Eleven in Thailand.

Flights, hotels, island tours, and airport transfers were all booked in advance through an app, so once in Thailand, expenses were mostly limited to food, massages, and taxis. Don’t worry if you don’t speak English or Thai—translation apps and a bit of gesturing will do the trick!

🇹🇭 Must-Have Apps for Traveling Abroad:

1️⃣ Google Maps (Navigation): Super convenient, and you don’t need to speak English. Just look up your destination or restaurant in advance, paste it into the app, and you’re good to go. You can also save locations on the map.

2️⃣ KuliKuli (Menu Translation): This app is a lifesaver! Use it to translate menus at restaurants and street food stalls—just take a picture, and it’ll give you the corresponding menu in Chinese (check out P4 and P5). It’s super convenient, so you don’t have to translate word by word. You can also use it to scan signs or place names you don’t understand.

3️⃣ Grab (Ride-Hailing): The easiest way to get a taxi in Thailand. However, in Bangkok, I recommend taking the BTS instead to avoid traffic.

4️⃣azgo (hotels and flight): Super convenient app that compare all the prices across travel platform to get the cheapest price! Use the referral code ⭐ LEMON8 ⭐ to get cashback and other offers, go give it a try!

🏖️ Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok → Check into the hotel and freshen up → Explore the Siam area, enjoy Thai milk tea (ChaTra Mue), have dinner (Home Cuisine), and check out the Bangkok Skywalk.

Day 2: Have lunch at Chulalongkorn Food Street → Try Milk Kid → Visit Lisa's famous Daddy Restaurant → Fly from Bangkok to Phuket.

Day 3: Similan Islands hopping tour during the day (all organized by a day tour, no need to plan yourself) → Evening massage near the hotel.

Day 4: Brunch at Kata Beach (Asia Kitchen) → Relax and enjoy the sea breeze at Kata Beach → Watch the sunset at a cliffside café (Laem Sai Cup Coffee) → Explore Kata Night Market and have dinner (Chai Tai Food).

Day 5: Have breakfast at Phuket Old Town (Toy Tor Toe) → Visit BKPP Yuan Chun Hall → Watch the sunset in Phuket Town → Evening massage.

Day 6: Return home.

Personally, I found Phuket more enjoyable, and there’s no need to follow the typical tourist spots. It can be exhausting and rushed. Instead, rent a scooter, explore freely, and stop wherever you find a beautiful spot—that’s what a vacation should be! 🏖️
