Heyyyyyyyyyy lemon8ders!!

Been back after a while of travelling phew! In fact, just came back from a recent trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam woohoo! 🇻🇳♥️🫡 One of the greatest trips of my life, made even better by the cuisine 😋😮‍💨 and I missed the food greatly... So you bet I was excited when my friends and I, including fellow lemon8der creator @r ☻ ☻, stumbled upon this quaint and humble Vietnamese joint: Pham Quyen Streetfood at Simpang Bedok, at the back of the main area where other more known food places such as Spize is located! BEST part, its halal!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭🗣️🗣️🗣️

My friends and I initially wanted to try the Banh Mi, but unfortunately it was sold out at the time we went 😀🥲but that's ok, we went with some yummy noodle dishes instead! 😮‍💨🙏🏽

What we got:

1. Original Pho

Ratings: 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳 / 5

- The soup was both sweet and tangy at the same time!

- Noodles were great, slurpability 10/10!

- The beef pieces and meatballs were a good amount, chewy and well cooked through

- you know the restaurant is authentic when they serve the veggies like coriander, bean sprouts, basil and lime on a separate plate 🤝🏽

2. Bun Ga Narung Sa (Lemongrass Chicken & Noodles)

Ratings: 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳/ 5

- tried some from @r ☻ ☻ and it was great!!

- noodles were chewy and springy

- veggies were in generous portion

- grilled chicken was juicy and melts in your mouth

- best part is the fish/chilli sauce (served separately) tangy, sweet and just the right amount of spice, i believe it honestly made the WHOLE DISH!!!

3. Braised Pepper Chicken

Rating: 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳 / 5

- its basically white rice and pepper chicken

- it was ok, just nice, and what you would expect!! Nothing can go wrong kinda vibes if you get this 🤙🏽

We also got their iced coffees!!! AND IMMEDIATE
