Why are people buying single use plastic cups?!

why is this becoming “aesthetic” and normal?? The saddest part is when I see people comment on posts like this asking where the creator buys the single use plastic cups 🥲

STOP PROMOTING EXCESS PLASTIC WASTE. Is the “aesthetic” worth it? A single plastic cup for your one coffee will be on earth for 400 years and wreak havoc on our earth in so many ways.

In my opinion, glass cups are wayyy more aesthetic anyway! & there are SO many cute options at the thrift store, by washing and using jars from foods, or on amazon!
