Hello again to yet another #manifestation #mentalwellbeing post!! I am no expert in this topic but happy to share what has worked for me to motivate myself and if it helps just 1 person, my time spent on this post is 100% worth it. So let me begin,

🧘‍♀️ Meditate In The Morning 🧘‍♂️

Yes, I know you’ve seen this everywhere and it’s nothing new BUT let me share what worked for me. I use the Balance app and I’m not sure if they still have a free 1 year subscription, I have been using this since Covid days and it has helped me through all sorts of situations. They have individual sessions for when you need a quick meditation depending on your mood and they also have 10 days plans to build certain aspects such as focus or communication.

✨ Tip: When I don’t feel like meditating the moment I wake up, I use the singles “Morning Brew” (for WFH days) and enjoy my cup of coffee while I start my day right!

🗣️ Read Out Positive Affirmations 🗯️

Intention-setting is important and what helps our brain even more is when we read out positive affirmations such as “I am so lucky, everything works out for me” / “I am worthy of love” / “Everything I desire comes my way” / “I am grateful for my life”

and once you read it out at first it feels a bit weird, and the more you say it, the more you believe it, and you start to feel lighter and you start to attract good things. Trust me. It works!

✨ Tip: Listen to Spotify playlist on affirmations and let the playlist work for you! It can act as background music while you work, commute, or white noise when you sleep.

✏️ Start Your Vision Board 🏰

This is an important step and usually done at the start of the year but better late than never! I did this the start of the year and I put in things that were in the pipeline and things that felt a bit far-fetched. Being as specific as possible helps to visualise how you want your year to be. You can do a vision board for 2023 or even up till 2024 if you’d like. For me, I did one for 2023 and it included my goals for work, health, relationship and travels. I used Pinterest to guide me and pick out images that resonated with my goals.

✨ Tip: Dream big. Don’t just put in things you know you can accomplish. Put in the goals you’ve been wanting but not sure how to get there and see how the universe works in your favour.

✍️ Journal 📔

I’m not so good at bullet journaling (tried n tested) it was too tedious for me. As a lazy gal, I want to journal with prompts provided in a chio book so I got myself the Year Of Growth diary by an Australian artist, Annie Tarasova, ( @dreamy_moons on IG). She’s a self-published independent artist and creates products like diaries, journals, tarot cards, oracle cards etc! The YOG diary is slightly heavy ‘cause the quality is superb and has weekly intention-setting and reflection, full moon and new moon readings, and more. It’s already sold out since it’s now 4 months into the year but highly recommend her art as it looks amazing and it feels good supporting a highly creative person! She also has other journals you can take a look.

✨ Set aside time for journaling and stick to that routine! Whether it be day or night, it can be 30 mins or even lesser, keeping a routine helps to prioritise journaling in your day especially when things get overwhelming.

🪄 Tarot or oracle readings 🧙‍♀️

Not a tip for everyone, so just sharing what has worked for me. I was skeptical about tarot cards at first and felt iffy about the whole thing. How can cards tell you the future or give you any direction? Who’s doing the telling? Is it like Ouija? Well… now that I own several tarot and oracle cards, I still don’t have all the answers other than the Universe / divine / intuition driving this and the readings have worked for me so far. I’ve been to 2 paid readings virtually and now I read for myself. It serves more like a guide to my week, what intentions I should set and somedays when I feel pressed for answers on a certain situation, I do a 3-card spread. Believe it or not, it’s up to you!

✨ Tip: For beginners, try oracle cards !They are so simple to use and the message is clear, without having to do much interpretation. It serves as a guide and each card has affirmations and activities to do too!
