food in a Myeongdong alley…? 😰

this was our final meal in Korea before we left, as our hotel was in Myeongdong. and boy, was it a good last meal 🤤

i would just like to start by saying that this was SO DIFFICULT TO FIND, as it is tucked away within the walls of an alley, hidden behind other shops 😓

we ordered soy bean paste stew, kimchi tofu stew and a hot stone bibimbap!!

soy bean paste stew 🫘

- salty (in a good way)

- well seasoned, a little spicy

- LOTS of veggies + tofu!!

- 5/5 ⭐️

kimchi tofu stew (sundubu) 🥬

- SUPER SPICY, i choked and coughed on my first mouthful 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

- soft tofu

- honestly i just tasted SPICE

- 3.5/5⭐️

hot stone bibimbap 🍚

- wish there was more sauce

- super hot and crispy rice at the bottom

- generous with toppings

- 4/5⭐️

the price in general is about 10,000-15,000₩ which is quite average for Myeongdong. it’s good for a last meal because it’s near the subway station, a direct line to the airport. the owners are also super nice and the side dishes took up more space on our table than the actual food 🤣🤣🤣
