Here are four trader joe’s lunch ideas you can put together during the weekdays. All under 12 minutes!
#1 : seaweed & tuna bites ~ this literally takes under 5 minutes to put together and satisfies my sushi cravings. All you need is some seaweed, jasmine rice, canned tuna & furikake (TIP: add kewpie mayo & sriracha to the tuna)
#2 : chicken salad sandwich ~ this is perfect for using up those extra veggies in your fridge before they go bad!
Chicken salad recipe:
1.5 tbsp light mayo
¼ cup diced chicken breast
¼ cup sliced bell pepper
3 tbsp minced onion
¼ cup chopped carrots
1 tbsp green onions
Season with salt, pepper & sugar to taste
#3 : avocado toast recipe:
Sourdough bread
½ avocado
Tomatoes
Fried egg
Sriracha
Turkey bacon
#4 : channa masala tomato soup ~ this is another favorite recipe of mine that takes under 15 minutes to put together. It’s so delicious & packed with so much flavor!
In a pot, combine trader joe’s chana masala and organic creamy tomato soup and heat until warmed through. Top with cilantro and cheese. (TIP: top with whipped cottage cheese for extra protein - makes a great sour cream substitute)
