I made this cupcake once, and now it is requested every time my family or friends get together! It is so moist and delicious you wouldn’t even believe it! It has the perfect hint of cinnamon, nutmeg and maple syrup! Oh, the flavor! It’s French toast! You’re drooling, right?! The best part is, it is extremely EASY! Listed below is the instructions and ingredients for both cupcake and maple syrup buttercream! You’re gonna want to save this one!

French Toast Cupcakes:

Ingredients:

1 Box of Yellow Cake mix

(box ingredients)

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Pure Maple Syrup (optional)

Maple Syrup Extract

Instructions:

1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix (follow recipe on box)

Add a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg to the batter and mix.

Add a splash of maple syrup to taste, mix.

Maple Syrup Buttercream:

2 sticks of butter

(salted or unsalted)

Large pkg of Powdered Sugar

Maple Flavoring

Heavy Cream

Instructions:

Beat together 2 sticks of butter

Slowly add in a large package of powdered sugar. (You won’t use the whole thing)

Add the cream slowly until stiff peaks

Add maple flavor taste.

Notes:

After cupcakes are frosted I like to put a sprinkle of cinnamon over the cupcakes to add color and that extra flavor!

Also, for frosting the cupcakes, I usually put my frosting in a Ziploc bag and cut the tip off at the bottom! Fancy, right?🤪
