how to plan the PERFECT itinerary ✈️🧳

heres how i plan the perfect itinerary from someone who travels 10x a year 😶 i only plan detailed itinerarys when : its my first time there / hv few days only / w big grp of friends.

i think its a waste to travel and then waste more time there figuring out, gg somewhere thats closed / died down, wasting travelling time gg back and forth the same area. 🥹

✈️ 1 : FLIGHT / AIRBNB

book your flight and airbnb first! so you know how long, what time you land / leave & where you stay.

🛒 2 : RESEARCH

figure out all the hot spots, food places you MUST visit and write them down. i use lemon8, tiktok to search up popular places & then google the menu, location and opening hours. then, organise according to location, group them up! ( i screenshot the map & js circle group the area ) so u dont go back and forth, wasting travelling time. one day : south, one day : north, etc.

📍 : SHEETS

must do for me!!!!! i alw come up with a google sheets, organised by date & time. ( up to you whether u wna follow strictly ). everything you need is in that one sheet & you can share w your travel buddies!

🌎 i also add in the location / how to go : include exact location so easier to type into google maps. or include nearest train stations.

⏰ add in opening days & hours so you can make sure the place will be open when you’re there!

💫 extra comment section : i put things like - reservation made at 7.00pm / e.g if the location name is in french, i will put in english translation in case we forget what tht place is for.

🅱️ plan Bs!!!! in case you have extra time / wna skip out on other things, at least you have backups on what to do or eat.
