Before we start, huge disclaimer: the weight loss was not intentional I simply wanted to grow stronger but here’s what I did! #BeReal #RealTalk

1. Running/ cardio

I know this sounds daunting and absolutely horrible. Two months ago I could barely run for 10min but after consistently running for two months my stamina has improved and I feel much stronger. I also try to do spin at least 3-4x a week as a fun type of cardio as i absolutely love spin.

2. Weight training

I didn’t realise the importance of weight training until I tried to do the hyrox sled push ( 102kg) and pull (78kg) and cld barely move the sled🥲. That was a wake up call. I have started weight training abt 1 month ago and it makes a huge difference and I feel much much stronger

3. Do not restrict

I do not restrict any foods as for me the more I restrict the more I would crave something…. The forbidden fruit effect. However, eat everything in moderation. If you want cake or some fried chicken eat that cake and fried chicken. I’m big on eating as u wish BUT prioritising protein and water intake. I also can’t give up acai so I make the switch from cookie butter which is higher in calories and less nutrients to a nut butter like almond or cashew. Small steps like that really add up in the end. I’m also a HUGE foodie so restricting for me is a no no

4. Stay consistent with your workouts

I try to work out at least once a day whether it be a weight session or a cardio. To be honest, my goal was to get stronger and not to lose weight so hence the work outs HAHA. The weight loss was simply a benefit!
