Our second 4th of July in New York

Hi everyone! Hope your weekend was as magical as mine ✨

As an immigrant in the USA I live the 4th of July like a very new experience for me. Living in New York is even more exciting because of the fireworks magnitude!

Last year it was just my boyfriend, my dog and I so we decided to see it in Hunters Point, but it was super crowded. It’s a good view but a bit uncomfortable to be honest.

This year our friends that live in Greenpoint invited us and we couldn’t feel more grateful. Some friends from Spain were visiting us and we spend the evening all together laughing, watching the fireworks and spending an amazing time.

For this kind of celebrations I would say that my tip is to cook something simple. Veggies, meat and seafood in a bbq is an amazing and tasteful idea!

Next year I would love to see how it’s celebrated in other city. Do you have any recommendations? I would love to hear them!
