We explored the following four attractions covered with the Canopy Park ticket: Topiary Walk, Petal Garden, Foggy Bowl, and Discovery Slides. However, since Leighton didn’t meet the minimum height requirement of 110cm, we skipped the slides. For reference, he’s 2 years old.

Instead, we bought tickets for the Mirror Maze, which was suitable for him. Note that Canopy Park admission is included when you purchase tickets for any of these attractions:

1. Mastercard® Canopy Bridge

2. Hedge Maze

3. Mirror Maze

4. Bouncing Net

5. Walking Net

We paid $15.90 for the Mirror Maze ticket, which also covered access to Canopy Park. This allowed us to explore Topiary Walk, Petal Garden, Foggy Bowl, and Mirror Maze.

Our Thoughts on the Attractions:

🌫️ Foggy Bowl

This was underwhelming. I brought Leighton here specifically for this, but the fogging sessions were too infrequent, making it quite boring in between. He ended up just running around the holes, and we didn’t stay too long. However, it’s a relaxing spot if you’re looking for a calm break.

🌸Petal Garden

This was beautiful and peaceful. The flowers were vibrant, and the scent was wonderful. Even my toddler was interested in observing the different colours and blooms. It’s a lovely space for a quiet stroll.

🦜Topiary Walk

It’s a short trail with some big birds and animals made from topiary. It might be more fun for younger children, but Leighton didn’t find it too exciting.

🪩Mirror Maze

This was the highlight for Leighton. He loved finding his way through the maze and did a fantastic job navigating. It’s a beautiful and trippy experience, with hanging flowers adding to the charm. Make sure there’s no running inside, as children could easily get hurt. Also, if you have an infant, note that they can only enter if they’re in a baby carrier. My poor Savvy didn’t get to enter because of this 🥲

Conclusion:

Canopy Park is a great option for a calm afternoon with a toddler. Older kids, however, might enjoy the more energetic activities like the Bouncing Nets and Discovery Slides, which seem like a lot more fun 🤩
