Fun Things To Do in NYC: Art Picnic / Central Park

I am a huuuuge picnic person and I love trying new things. SO, last week I participated in an art picnic where we tried out texture art! 🎨🧺🍋 It was hosted by Unique Workshop with host Anna, who is an art instructor and event space owner from Russia. She also hosts textured paint and sip experiences as well as candle making experiences (check her out on Insta @uniqueworkshopnyc 📸)

This experience is perfect as a girls day, date activity or even solo/self-care moment! No experience is needed. I had never tried texture art and it was more of an “art therapy” experience than anything. 🎨

💲 It’s $80 pp (Zelle or Venmo), which included lemonade, macaroons and all art materials (canvas, paints, tools, etc.)

⏲️ The picnic lasted about 2 hours (but you can leave whenever you finish your art piece/are ready to go)

👗 There’s a dress code, so find your pastel/light color picnic attire! Think romantic silhouettes, florals, ruffled dresses, and peasant blouses. No black or dark colors.
