🩷✨Girlhood✨🩷

I truly believe I have reached top tier “girlhood”, what female friendships were always meant to be, friendship in its purest form. And I really feel like we don’t talk about it enough. We have such a fulfilling level of emotional intimacy across the board, we build each other up, we look out for each other. That is what women are supposed to do. That is what is hard wired into our brains and bodies… so why do we not focus that into building communities of connections and bonds with one another.

I’ve also noticed that as we’ve all grown closer, we have all stopped dealing with shitty situationships and seeking validation from men if that makes sense. I feel like as college girls we have all at one point fallen into the cycle of seeking out the feeling of love and affection from guys who don’t really care about us, we broke our own hearts, we dealt with a lot of bs that we shouldn’t have. when we started focusing on the emotional fulfillment we got from each other, we stopped. my girlies are literally my rock. when i am struggling they are always there. that’s what’s so great, we are always there for each other. we can tell each other anything (and i do mean literally anything) without shame or fear. i literally love my friends and i think every single woman and girl deserves a group of friends like this.
