NYC Guide: Going to a BROADWAY show + tips! 🎭🚨

One of the must-do items when visiting New York is going to see a Broadway show! They truly are known for being the best worldwide musical plays and will absolutely blow you away. 😍 This time I picked the Moulin Rouge production to visit. I like to pick a show where it will be a whole experience from stage to song and dance. When I walked in and saw this stage in person it did not disappoint at all!

I paid $250 per ticket for front row from the left stage. Amazing tickets and view. When you’re that close the ensemble cast and sometimes the main leads will interact with you during the show which makes it all that more special. ☺️ Here are some need-to-know tips when buying and going to any shows on ✨ Broadway ✨

🚨If you want to take a chance, pop up at a Broadway show last minute! (about and hour before the show) - often times there will be empty seats during a performance since they are live 6-7 days a week. If you show up at the ticket booth they are willing to let you buy at a discounted price to fill seats for that night. A girl next to me did this and instead of paying $250 for our position she only paid $78!!

🚨when purchasing tickets online you should look up the theater where the musical is and run it through A View From My Seat , it is a website has photos showing you what the view would be like from the seat purchase for you to make the best decision possible from ticketing websites

🚨I would recommend eating beforehand. Most shows start around 7pm and will end with intermission at 10.30pm. Have a light snack to not worry. You will not be allowed to bring food & drinks into the cinema

🚨The intermission period can get crazy with everyone buying drinks/food/merch and trying to run to the restroom. Try your best to be ready and stay in your seat.

🚨You can NOT take photos or videos during the play. They are very strict and will confiscate your phone.

🚨You’ll get a playbill which is a guide to the play and cast along with other Broadway facts and guides 🎭 Great to keep as a souvenir!
