Why the Alma BB should be your 1st designer bag 🖤

Thinking of buying your first designer handbag? There are many options out there but I will give you my reasons as to why I think the Louis Vuitton Alma BB is the perfect option.

I got the bag at the end of 2020 as a gift to myself after all the stress of the pandemic and even though it was only a couple years ago, I got it for $400 less. Louis Vuitton is one of the 3 big brands (LV, Hermes, Chanel) that always goes up in value.

This bag was designed originally as a commission from the late great Coco Chanel herself. Years later she would give permission for them to be remade for the public to buy. I like to think of it as Chanel’s lesser known baby sister 🙊

The classic Damier Ebene print is a staple in LV history and very well known. It is made with canvas which means it is durable for every day use without worrying about it as much as a leather bag. There is some leather on the bottom though so you still get the detail 🤌🏽 The print makes it that you also have the option to wear more casually with the cross body strap you can clip on because it pairs really well with jeans. You can wear it too handle for a classier look for a late night dinner too which is why it is so versatile.

At purchase you can request to get it hot stamped like I did with my initial making it feel much more personal to you. The gold detailing is beautiful with the iconic LV lock. My favorite is the pop of color red interior that is a nice surprise and also makes it easier to find things in your bag. It is also deceptively big for a small bag due to its shape. You can fit an iPhone Pro Max in here no problem at all and still have space for all your other essentials. Last thing is the price point is more favorable when comparing to other designer brands like Dior or Chanel.
