💄This new #RareBeauty Tinted Lip Oil has been viral recently. I believe they officially launched in Sg a few days ago (right after Sephora VIB Sale LOL😂).

💛 Color: I got the shade Wonder. Honestly Joy and Happy are so similar just one is a tad bit darker than the other. Hope is in the same color family too. Serenity & Honesty are nice but I’ll get to the point later on why I didn’t get them.

One minus point is for the kind-of-misleading marketing/product name? Let me just be frank, this is not a lip oil as we’re familiar with. I know there’s oil in the formula so they can somehow get away with calling it a lip oil? But for us who are VERY familiar with Korean beauty, aka, water/glow tint (Romand juicy lasting tint, anyone?), we know by heart this type of lip product already. It leaves a water film on the finish to create that “juicy” effect. But then again, not a lip oil.

The color selections are pretty. But some of them are same-same. Color pay-off is very pigmented (more than Romand’s). I like it for first application. But if you keep reapplying it throughout the day, be prepared for a much darker and neon-y color payoff because the tint keeps piling on top of each other.

❤️: I would have given it a 5 star if they do declare it’s a water lip tint, AND with a more affordable price range (I understand tho Rare Beauty’s range is higher than K-beauty).

But all that aside, it is a pretty product. If you’re curious about it, try it out because it’s certainly NOT a failed by any mean.

If you wanna achieve the same look with better 💰 for ur wallet, try Romand’s as mentioned above. Or Ofelia Vietnam (I have many of their shades and they’re VERY similar to Honestly and Serenity)! #makeup #liptint #lipstick #lipstickdupe
