There’s just something about morally grey men… The spice? The suspense? And the cliffhanger at the end? I immediately bought and read the second half of the duet!

My first why choose romance. And in a dystopian society? How did I get so lucky? Dystopian novels and romance novels are my two favorite genres, and this book had me in an absolute chokehold throughout.

I didn’t think I’d like this one as much as I did. There’s just something that hits different with paranormal romances… Maybe that’s why I liked Twilight so much as a teen?

4) Priest by Sierra Simone 📿

I didn’t think this book would actually be therapeutic for me. I related to Tyler throughout the book, especially with his struggles in his own morality and sense of self conflicting with his fleshly desires. I’m not religious or spiritual by any means, but growing up in a heavily religious state can pack a punch when it comes to exploring one’s sexuality.

As you can probably guess, I’ve been really into romance novels lately! If you would have told me that I was going to read 12+ books in the month of July, I wouldn’t have believed you.

However, time flies pretty quickly! Especially when you’re having fun. I’m excited to dive into more books on my TBR for next month! 📖
