healing my inner child 🤍

Presently trying to heal my inner child is a process that takes time and effort.

Validating my feelings was an important first step. I constantly remind myself that I matter! I like to journal, read, or talk to my best friend because she can help me process and release built-up feelings. Through this journey, I have only surrounded myself with supportive people who I trust.

I also worked on how I view my past experiences. I focused on resilience and personal growth rather than just the pain I went through. I strongly protected my emotional well-being by setting boundaries with people or situations that trigger painful memories.

I know healing is not linear. I feel and process emotions at my own pace. Healing is a personal journey but honestly seeking help makes the process more manageable. I hope one day I can be fully healed.
