Hi Lemon8 babes. Just wanna share the only meals I took for sahur this year when I was far from the fam. Back then I was used to eat rice for sahur. I tried it this year but I went really hungry, even since morning 🥹
1. KURMA BUTTER 🧈
You guys tried this one too? 😂 I took 3 kurma butter per sahur, with a glass of milk. Said to supply energy for the whole day. Works for me. Make sure to use pure butter, I use Anchor brand.
2. SCRAMBLED EGGS & TOMATO 🍳🍅
Eggs are a great source of high quality protein. Eggs are also very filling and score high on the satiety index.
3. POTATO SALAD 🥔🥗
I mixed boiled & cubed potatoes with beef cube, spring onion & mayonnaise.
Boiled potatoes are very filling and scored the highest on the satiety index. Potatoes are high in water & carbs, & contain moderate amounts of fiber and protein.
