Hi! So here I wanna share my simple itinerary to Lake Toba. My route here started from Kualanamu International Airport and ended at Berastagi. Lake Toba is so beautiful, not crowded and still untouched so if you have a chance, pls visit here at least once ❤️

📝 Residents in Samosir Island are mostly Christians, which is why this itinerary can be a guide for Muslims, for the food & restaurants especially.

📝 The best time to visit Lake Toba is during the dry season, from May to September. During this period, the weather is generally pleasant, with little rainfall and plenty of sunshine.

📝 Lake Toba from Medan is around 4 hours by car, where it is advised to hire a “supir” for your trip. If you’re more on the adventurous side, you can take a bus there & explore the island by renting a bike.
