BUDGET VS BOUGIE: Brown Eyeshadow Palettes 👀

Is there any difference between a budget and a bougie eyeshadow palette?!

Brown eyeshadow palettes are my go-to because they go with almost any outfit, for almost any occasion. I’ve had these palettes for quite a while now, so I thought I’d review them!

💫 BUDGET: KATE Brown Shade Eyes (BR-5), ~$20

It’s been a while and I can’t really remember nor find its exact price online?! It should still be available in Watsons though.

❤️ What I love:

- Mild but still visible shimmer

- Good for everyday makeup

- Doesn’t burst your wallet

- Comes with small applicator

💔 What’s not so great:

- Not super long lasting? Colour becomes less obvious after long hours BUT dark colour does not smudge

💫 BOUGIE: NARS Unwrapped Mini Eyeshadow Palette (Laguna), $31

This was from their Christmas collection last year, which I bought from Sephora.

❤️ What I love:

- Quite value for money honestly, for a good brand like NARS; palette lasts long despite its small size

- Stronger and more pigmented glitter shades

- Great for nights out

- Long lasting

💔 What’s not so great:

- Leaves behind some glitter residue even after wiping off

- No neutral base shade to build on

🫡 FINAL VERDICT: There are differences between the two, but HONESTLY, I love them both!!! I just use them for different occasions.
