I got rashes at Bali criies

So guys, I’ve been to Bali multiple times but it was the first time I decided to do water rafting. It was honestly fun but I think an insect bit me and I started scratching and the rash became really itchy and gross!

Some key lessons:

(1) bring insect repellant. You never know what insect you’ll be allergic to

(2) bathe after the activity. My sister and I felt very gross with the bathing facilities and made a mistake not rinsing ourselves. I then found out from the internet that it is important to rinse ourselves from any of the residue from the insect or the river water!!

(3) ensure you have travel insurance or an personal accident plan! I didn’t know insect bites are considered as an “accident” too and I’m thankful I get to claim!

but it was still an experience and my little dotty scars are still healing 😭
