Carnivore

I am back to the carnivore grind, once I hit my goal I went more keto, far more lenient with carbs but whole food carbs like fruits and veggies. Of course i also had “cheat meals” on special occasions like my birthday for instance. I say that to say, my body just doesn’t do carbs that well, the amount of bloat I suffered through eating a whole food diet (i.e. lean meats like chicken and turkey, non fat Greek yogurt, low carb keto bread, carrots and hummus, watermelon, apples, sweet potatoes etc…) but my body just didn’t respond as well as I’d like it to. I couldn’t lose weight I was bloated all the time and super gassy. So I decided to come back to the W.o.e that helped me get rid of both type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure in as little as 3 months. Now since I’m smaller than I was it definitely isn’t falling off of me now. However I also have to remember that back then I was doing it by diet alone. I am now lifting at the gym a minimum of 3x weekly and I’m lifting heavy weight. So I’m also building muscle. It’s been a week so it’s still early to see a lot of difference, but I know what this diet is capable of so just gotta keep pushing and keep lifting.
