French Speakeasy and Bistro in NYC | LOULOU

LOULOU is a trendy French restaurant in Chelsea that went viral on tiktok when the restaurant first opened. It is known for their extravagant cocktails that are over the top and creative. The vibes are fun and young. Although the prices are on the higher side, this place feels like an experience worth having. The world is yours cocktail comes in a spherical glass with an edible flower. Although the drink was beautiful and fun, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. It had a peach liquor inside that I didn’t love. The baked Camembert was incredible and my favorite dish! I am such a cheese and lavender lover, and this dish was a delicious combination of the two. It also is available with gluten free bread for those who may need it. The Cavatelli pasta was also delicious. I loved the vegetables with the burrata, and it a great vegetarian option.
