Looking for some date ideas in New York City? I gotchu!

Here is a list of a few things that I did with my boyfriend on dates that I really enjoyed.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art This is a good idea for locals and tourists alike. With exhibits that come and go, as well as so much to look at, there is always something new to discover here! What’s great about it as well if you have a New York ID, you choose what you want to pay for admission. I usually do about $5.00 or so even though I could do less. I don’t because proceeds go to the museum.

Get pizza from Lucali and take it to Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6 Liberty Lawn for dinner with a view! Lucali’s is an iconic upscale pizza restaurant in Brooklyn that is frequented by Beyoncé and Jay-Z. There is always a wait to sit down at their spot, so order ahead, pick it up, and walk over to the Brooklyn Pier for a New York style picnic. This restaurant is cash only, so make sure you come prepared.

Go to a sports game Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium ! The seasons are opposite of each other so odds are, you’ll be able to go to one of them depending on the time of year. Tickets can get pricey depending on your seat selection, but they have options for all. I like to pick the cheaper options and to go for the experience.

Take a trip over to Roosevelt Island for the day! Roosevelt island is located in between Manhattan and Queens. You can either take a 15 subway from Midtown or the air tram. I recommend the tram for a more unique date experience. Roosevelt Island is less crowded and it’s great for outdoor strolling, exploring, or a more quiet afternoon in a park.
