NYC’s most difficult reservation | The Polo Bar

The Polo Bar This American restaurant by designer Ralph Lauren, is one of Manhattan’s most sought after reservations. They come out one month ahead at 10am and are gone almost immediately. I was lucky enough to snag one.

Vibes ✨ The restaurant interior feels like classic, old school Manhattan and isn’t short on all kinds of polo sport decor. I’ve heard mixed reviews, mostly those saying that this exclusive eatery isn’t worth the trouble of getting a reservation, but the food itself was incredible.

Food ✨ The gave us complimentary bread to start. The bread was cheesy, warm, and flakey while the butter came with the a cute polo bar cover. We ordered the pigs in a blanket with spicy mustard and the artichoke and asparagus salad. The pigs in a blanket were delicious while the salad was out of this world. Pigs in a blanket were good, but the salad was more of the unique flavor experience I was looking for. For mains, we got the Dover Sole and the Filet Mignon. Both were good, but the steak was incredible. I could drink the peppercorn sauce it came with straight. The mashed potatoes were also a hit.
