Depression is nothing to be ashamed of

Depression can feel like it’s taking over your life—making it hard to even get out of bed, shower, eat, or talk to anyone. It’s like being chained down, held back from healing and moving forward. You know the truth deep down, but sometimes you let the voices and opinions of others live rent-free in your head, constantly worrying about what they’ll say or think. It’s a trap that keeps you stuck.

I’m learning to avoid that trap, one small step at a time. Little by little, I’m focusing on taking care of myself and leaning on God’s understanding rather than my own. His love reminds me that I’m not defined by my struggles, and healing is possible. Trusting in Him helps me find the strength to keep going, even on the hardest days. 💕
