Movies I watched this past weekend

So this holiday weekend I got to catch a few horror movies.

1. Terrifier : So this movie is the first full length where the homicidal Art the Clown is the front runner causing carnage and chaos. It was so well done for an indie film that only had $35k as its budget! It’s brutal, it’s bloody, it’s got major shock value. 🎃🎃🎃🎃/5 - caught it on tubi

2. Jeepers Creepers : Reborn : Another installment to a franchise that honestly isn’t that amazing to begin with. From what I could understand, an adorable boyfriend talks his science major girlfriend (who JUST found out she’s pregnant) to a horror fest in the woods of Louisiana and ends up being the Creeper’s focal point. This film was confusing and lack luster. The storyline was nonexistent tbh. It’s mainly useful for background noise and that’s it. 🎃/5 - caught it on Hulu

3. The Watchers - A slow-burn folklore thriller with Dakota Fanning starring and Ishana Shyamalan directorial debut this Irish based thriller covers the lore behind the fae and more specifically the lore of the changeling. I enjoyed it and thought it was well done. It does a good job on the lore. 🎃🎃🎃.5/5

4. Immaculate - Religious horror is one of my favorite sub-genres in horror. This gave a horror gothic feel and Sydney Sweeney did a great job in this. This is about an American nun coming to live in the covenant in Italy where she becomes pregnant (and seen as that to the Virgin Mary) hence the name it’s about the Immaculate conception. Loved this and it wasn’t too long either. 🎃🎃🎃🎃/5 - caught it on Hulu
