Why I’m QUITTING long acrylic nails

I've been doing my own nails for 4 years and just recently getting acrylics for about 3 months because I’m tired of sitting at home for 4 hours doing my nails😫😭

I KNOW what you're going to say, but they are so cute and WORTH IT and perfect for a girl to feel more dressed up!

Now, I'm kind of over it. I've done all the patterns, styles, and colors I've ever wanted. It seems as though I'm ready to go back to the basics...

Long nails cost me on average $60 each time! It's kind of crazy if you think about it.

Don't get me wrong I think acrylic nails are so cute but I'm just over it for the lifestyle I have right now I'm working out every day and it's not maintainable to have long nails while typing on a computer all day!

I've also seen a lot of trending video saying that short nails are in and I'm ready to embrace my short nails with a cute nude color on top!

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this, especially the experienced acrylic nail girlies! Don’t get me wrong I’m still going to get acrylics just instead of adding tips it will be over my natural nails which is $35 compared to the $60 so not only will my nails grow long and be protected from breaking but I’m also not breaking the bank ☺️
