PET FRIENDLY NATURE GETAWAY TO RELAX ~ 😌😌

Schedule : Not veryyy often in the late afternoons, but otherwise hourly so please do plan carefully!! Go early.

😋 Been wanting to visit the islands ever since i found out theyre pet friendly??? Excited to bring my bf's dog w me to let her enjoy the beautiful, quiet beach off the shores of SG!! #withmybesties

📍 The ferry timing we bought was 8am but take note that u can JOIN THE FERRY AT ANY TIMINGS and not the one u booked!!! which is VERY convenent. At the Marina Ferry Port, theres alot of convenient stalls to buy drinks, snacks, i even had my lunch there !!! (Only Nasi Lemak though- tasted not too bad!)

👍🏻 Ferry was very clean and it was a smooth, fast trip too! Took around 15 mins but me & my bf fell asleep so quick bc it was sooo relaxing honestly.... But stay awake & you can enjoy the beautiful sea view

🤍 The Causeway between ST Johns and Lazarus Island is BEAUTIFUL. The waters are clear, blue and the breeze is lovely.

READ WHY I DID NOT GO TO LAZARUS ISLAND HERE : MY DOG ALMOST GOT KILLED

Along the Causeway, you'll see many families having small picnics there or experienced men fishing!!! We actually talked to one of them and he said there are plenty of fishes here and we can take a look at his smaller fish he caught. The thing is the small fish was alr so big i cant imagine the big ones LOLOL. So for those who know how to fish, visit this place!!! 😆

📍 At the entrance of the Causeway, theres a bike shop where u can rent bikes & segways so thats q cool but i heard its q ex!!! if u have ur own bike u can bring it onboard the ferry oso around exploring St John Islands and found the Marine Park Public Gallery. Its just a nice place for aircon and to refill ur water/toilet but the tanks practically had nothing in it to see!!! Theres educational guides all around the Gallery but then again its also very small so honestly can skips....

🤍 At Kusu island , the island is really very small so 30 mins is all u need to explore the island UNLESS u wna have fun at their beach!! the thing about the beach here is that its super beautiful.... different from Lazarous in the sense that its much whiter here vs blue waters in Lazarous/St Johns but both are VERY CLEAR WHICH I LOVE. 😍😍 Great for pictures and for your pets to swim/paddle/play at Kusu beach imo bc the water level is SUPER LOWWW and its v safe because of the surrounding breakwaters.

The iconic Kusu Turtle Pond also has manyyyy turtles so its interesting to see!! DEFO MUST CHECK IT OUT 🤩🤩🤩 Theres also alot of people praying at the few temples there (can buy incense sticks etc there) but my fav was the simple wishing well there. SUPPOSEDLY IF U THROW A COIN AND IT HITS A BELL & IT RINGS UR WISH WILL BE GRANTED SO HAHAHA u have to try it!! quite fun aiming also bc not v easy 🫣🫣🫣

things to bring to the islands :

-umbrella

-picnic mat/small foldable chairs

-FOOD/SNACKS (can buy at the marina port)

-WATER!!!

-sunblock

-ZIPPED bags no plastic bags

-tissue!!!

-small COINS for wishing well
