🍔 I NEVER wanted to try 5 guys bc i was sure it was an overhyped place and like damn ex oso $16 for one burger leh w fries drink like $30??? for a fast food chain (or isit restaurant...) place??? but one day i was talking to my friend n i was going on about how much i LOVE BURGERS n i am alw on the hunt for the best burger in sg.... n he was like "wah nice burger ah idk leh but my fav is 5 guys i dont go anywhr else"

n i was like SO NICE MEH???? THAT PIQUED my curiousity so i was like ok i must go try!!!

🍔 So here i am in 5 guys n honestly the set up is so cool rly like transport to America HAHAHAH. I went on a weekday 5pm and there was zero queue. I ordered a cheeseburger and was actually very pleasantly surprised that you can customize your burger, up to 16 free topppings!! I prefer this system bc i get to add as many as i want without feeling restricted n tbh..... i love all of the toppings so i got almost everyth except the bbq sauce.

🍔 When the burger came, it was soooo big and wrapped in a tinfoil it literally looked like a bomb..... I was NOT expecting it to be so huge but then again i added so many toppings. I actually spent like 2mins figuring how to eat the burger bc it was so big i couldnt fit it in my mouth and after awhile i gave up n had to resort to eating like a barbarian oops... but it was worth it bc it smelled so good i was so eager to start XD

📌 DO NOT COME HERE W A DATE!!! OR SOMEONE YOURE NOT CLOSE W BC YOU WILL LOOK SO HORRIBLE EATING IT.

🍔 The beef patties were soooo big and thick and juicy & you can tastes the smokiness of the cheese... it was just great. I love how the cheese is melted and tastes salty w a strong cheese flavour. Its definitely of better quality than most fast food out there like macdonalds or carls junior but the toppings were so unexpected. The veges were SOOOO fresh i was so impressed.... esp the CRUNCHY lettuce! The mushrooms were not bad but nothing too amazing. Loved the pickles n onions (grilled n normal).

📌 the hot sauce is not that spicy but IT LEAKS EVERYWHERE!!!! Avoid it as its too watery so it was spilling all over the table and dripped to my arms.... I hated that part and was quite crossed bc even though i love hot sauce it was just too messy to eat.

🍔 WORTH FOR $15/16??? YES. I would totally come again, i loved the portion (even if it was hard to eat) and the taste quality. Definitely of standard!!
