my vintage 1800’s bedroom 💌☁️

a little glimpse into my bedroom that was built in the 1800’s in Chicago! Obviously there’s been a lot of work that’s been put into it like painting, wall patching and much more so it more so looks like a blank canvas rather than an apartment from the 1800’s LOL but there’s a lot of cool features in my apartment that you can definitely tell have history.

For example, the original pipes are still lining the walls of the apartment and are restored/fully functional!

There’s decorative crown molding around every door frame ✨

Our bedroom actually used to be split into a closet of sorts and a small room which later got knocked down and converted into a long narrow room!

Our sink and bathroom are completely original to when this building became residential 💖💖

Overall, I love our little vintage apartment and love sharing bits and pieces of it on this account <333
