Unpopular Opinion of Lovely Runner🏃🏃‍♀️ (spoiler!)

Lovely Runner has ended quite sometime ago, and I watched it a little later than everyone 🌞 (actually because I only watch shows on Netflix and this drama was highly recommended by my friend, so I watched it on Viu)✨

Here is my unpopular opinion of the very famous K-drama, Lovely Runner. Please don’t hate on me after reading it, I have nothing against the actors and I really like Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon💙

First of all, I really think Kim Hye Yoon really acted really well in the show, and there were so many scenes of her crying her heart out. But… CAN SHE STOP FALLING DOWN SO OFTEN?!? And how is it that the male lead is always around to catch her, it is till the point where I start to wonder, IS HE STALKING HER?!??

I mean, in real life, it could have been really creepy especially because the female lead is trying to escape from him, and they were not on the best terms. Is he constantly STARING at her and following her everywhere so he is ready to catch her when she falls randomly??

And also, the scene where the female lead appears from under the male lead’s bed. As viewers, we know why she was hiding there and it was a legit reason. But honestly, if I were the male lead, I would have found it super creepy that this female is hiding in my room, and whether she is secretly a pervert. But I understand cos he liked her, if it was someone else he might have reported her to the police😂

I also felt that the third time of Im Sol’s time travel is quite redundant, and it can be combined together with her second time travel. It felt draggy at that point of time, and felt that the third time travel is just to make up for the full 16 episodes, if not it could have been 12 episodes. 😮‍💨

Oh, I was also screaming at the screen whenever Im Sol is running away from the taxi driver killer, CAN YOU DON’T RUN ON THE PROPER PATHWAY SO THE KILLER CAN’T KNOCK U OVER?!? But I think what she did during the last time travel was really smart💡

😱 the ending scene of the taxi driver killer: did he actually die because it showed him falling into the water instead of dying on the spot?? Maybe in line for Lovely Runner 2🏃‍♀️?

Overall, I really enjoyed watching this K-drama and can’t wait for the second season (if there is!), I just have lots of opinion when I was watching it so do comment down below if you have any unpopular opinions about the drama too✨💙
