Minimalist Home Inspo 🕊️

I am very much an introvert so my home is my safe space. I have put so much time, money and effort into making this my dream space and it’s finally coming all together 🥰

I believe a cluttered home is a cluttered mind, so I definitely lean towards a minimalist, mid century/modern home aesthetic. My partner, and I also wanted to make a point to buy more vintage pieces since they are more one of a kind and usually have some kind of value to them.

For my living room, I definitely wanted a lounge chair so when I found the flag halyard chair on Facebook marketplace for a fraction of the price, I jumped at it! I can understand an $800 price tag is a lot of money but if I ever want to sell it in the future, I will get 90% of it back. Same thing goes for the vintage Italian leather sofa all of my furniture are basically investment pieces!

A fun DIY we did was our concrete coffee table. In total with supplies the total to make it was $150. Decorated with some vintage Goodwill fashion books and of course my favorite Maison Margiela candle

You will notice I definitely have a chair obsession. We went to Mexico early this year and actually saw a style chair like this that we loved at the resort so we were on the hunt for one when we got back! We found one on marketplace literally two weeks later! The dark woven leather with the cherry fits perfectly in with the mid century aesthetic we have.
