💄Cezanne Lasting Gloss Lip💄

When I saw Cezanne’s lasting gloss lip at Guardian, I knew I had to try them out! This lip product is formulated with shea butter, olive oil and jojoba oil and it claims to deeply moisturize and “melt” on your lips.

Today, I put two shades to the test!

Shade 101: brownish pink nude

Shade 401: deep red

- Smooth formula that glides on your lips 👄

- Closer to lip balm rather than lipstick

- Shiny and glossy finish

- Gives your lips a very natural tint

- Pretty gold packaging with a glittery crystal cap!

- <$10 price point when on sale 💰

- Fragrance-free and alcohol-free

➖:

- Doesn’t do great on chapped lips despite the moisturising ingredients

- Except a lighter colour payoff

- Not transfer-proof (given the balmy formula), so reapplication is necessary

- The cap isn’t super secure, sometimes it comes off in my bag 🥲

⭐️ Overall rating: 3/5

There are clear pros and cons to this product — while I love the glossy finish and natural colour, I did not find the lipstick as moisturising as it claimed to be. The packaging is also pretty but the cap doesn’t seem to screw on tightly for me, so I only carry it around in my makeup pouch. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase it anytime soon, but I’ve been using it daily because it fits all kinds of occasions and looks!
