Affordable jelly gel polishes from Shopee! 💅🏼

After my trip to Korea in July, I got super into jelly nails and wanted to recreate them at home. So, I was shopping around and came across this gel polish on Shopee!

I wasn’t expecting much because my experience with cheaper gel polishes hasn’t been the best 🥲, but this was a pleasant surprise! The nail polish is pretty durable and gives you that trendy jelly finish. 💫

1️⃣ Gaoy Jelly Gel Nail Polish ($3.84 each on Shopee)

- Colours used: 357 and 379

- 2 coats is enough to get the translucent jelly look

- I layered both colours to get the shade pictured 💅🏼

- The store has >20 jelly polish shades!

- 🚩: Downside is that getting a more opaque finish would require >3 coats as the polish consistency is on the thinner side. I usually prefer thicker gel polishes!

- Having a good quality base & top coat ensures that your manicure stays glossy and in tact

- I recommend investing in a salon-grade brand — they might cost more but they’ve improved the overall quality of my DIY manicures.
