kitchenaid, is it worth it?

my kitchenaid is my favorite piece of “equipment” i own. it makes EVERYTHING easier. i grew up always having one, so when i got married and moved out i knew that i’d eventually purchase one. to a newly married couple though, to spend $400 on something it had to be a need not a want. so we put it on our wedding registry (not expecting to be gifted it) but we were!! to me, this is a luxury, not a necessity. although sometimes i think it is a necessity bcuz i saw my mom use it so much, truly anything u do with a kitchenaid you can do with your own hands. this is totally a splurge item but it is SO worth every dollar!
