K-SKIN CLINC RESULTS & HOW I CURED MY ACNE 🧖🏻‍♀️🇰🇷

Which Skin Clinic to go to ?

✨ I opted to go to Club Miz 9 Lamiche Hospital which is a well known celebrity skin clinic as it’s my first time doing treatments and I wanted the peace of mind

✨ They provide translators from start to finish so you don’t have to worry about miscommunication/misunderstanding any processes

✨ They also provide full service treatments so all the facial cleansing, extractions and numbing are all done by the staff unlike cheaper clinics where you have to do some steps yourself

✨ But after this time, I think I will be open to trying other clinics in the future cause I feel like I know how to navigate this k-clinic system

Why did it cost $10k?

💸 Upon skin consultation + confirmation of my concerns, I was recommended 9.5 lasers to treat my acne, pores, scarring + hyperpigmentation + lifting and also 600 shots of Thermage and 150 shots of Ulthera for face shaping and lifting. This was gonna come up to $4,860 already cause per laser cost is very high

💸 If you buy more lasers you can significantly bring the cost down from like 328,000 won per laser to 180,000 won per laser

💸 Girl math = I buy more lasers and spend more money now but it brings down my cost per use and I can always come back to Korea to use my remaining sessions

💸 Even more girl math = They gave me more freebies because I bought so much stuff. They gave me additional 150 shots of ulthera, free inmode and BBL laser, free lifting Botox, skin Botox and fat dissolving shot as well and I estimate all these to come up to around 1.5k-2k in value

💸 All in all I used about $4k of credits today and have a remaining $5K+ to use for future trips. If I maintain my skin well, this can last about 4/5 more Korea trips

How was the treatment & recovery?

💉 Started off with extraction to make sure your skin is clean before they go in with any other procedures. This was painfullll and even more painful than some of the lasers

💉 After that they applied numbing cream on my face and I had to lie there for 30 mins before we could go on to the lasers

💉Staff was very cute!!! They would tell me “this one a bit hot/painful” and do a test shot before we proceeded. Most lasers were ok but what was painful was the third stage of the BBL laser and I think the excel laser (their pronunciation was a bit off so I cannot remember exactly). For me, inmode, ulthera and thermage were not painful at all and I actually fell asleep

💉Skin Botox was a bit painful cause it was multiple jabs to the face but v-olet and lifting Botox was ok

💉 Recovery was ok!! Just no washing face the night of treatment but you can go in with hydrating and sensitive skin products. You can also wear make up the next day already but as I did a lot of lasers my skin was rough for about a week before the top layer of skin peeled off

Am I happy with the results?

😍 I am super happy with the results that were for targeting acne cause I have been dealing with recurring acne breakouts for a over a year now at my chin area and nothing has worked despite spamming all the different pimple creams, going for more facials, watching my diet etc. The Korea dermatologist explained that there was lot of bacteria and fungus already deep in my pores so they needed to used laser to go in and do a deep cleaning and kill them off once and for all and really since then my chin acne has stopped and I have less breakouts overall

😍 Ultherapy is major major love cause really my jawline is major defined now and it’s all without surgery

🙅🏼‍♀️ I still have some really deep pitted scars from previous acne that are still very prominent and maybe repeated sessions are needed

🙅🏼‍♀️ Personally feel like thermage was not worth it for me. I have heavier cheeks so I wanted to lift the skin at my smile line area but I feel like the droop is still very prominent even after thermage
