I’m always on the lookout for unique travel experiences whenever I travel and this Silver class was calling out to me during my recent trip to Bali.

Uluwatu Silver Class have outlets at bothCanggu and Uluwatu and sessions are at 450,000 rupiah per person which is a steal considering classes in Singapore and Malaysia are in the hundreds

When you go to the class you are guided through the process of being a silversmith and crafting your own customized ring.

You start off by selecting your preferred design and showing it to the artisans there so they can advise whether it is doable or not. I opted to go to Pinterest to find my dream ring design cause I wanted like an asymmetrical blob ring. After that you measure out your silver beads, the class comes with 7g of complimentary silver but if your design requires more you will need to top up accordingly.

From there you go through multiple rounds of firing, hammering and thinning out the silver to form strips that you can work with to form your ring.

Then after that depending on your design you can shape your ring yourself or let the professionals help you with it before you buff and polish your final product! My ring was complex to make which involve bending metal and also melting and rejoining metal so I ended up letting the experts do most of the work!

We had so much fun and we both loved the rings that we ended up with cause they are one of a kind and an amazing way to remember the trip.
