My new diary 🍋 Introduction post ✨

Hellooo everyone, I’m Cherylene! ☺ I’ve been a quiet reader on Lemon8 for a while, and what I love most about this platform is how much thought, value, and creativity everyone puts into their posts! ✨ I’ve learned so much from all of you, and now I’ve finally decided to jump in and share my journey. Not sure if I’ll be able to keep up with the pros here, but I’m definitely going to try my best! 💪🏻

To kick things off, here are some fun (and probably lesser-known) facts about me:

1) I’m an Aquarius, a total homebody, and a certified introvert (you won’t catch me leaving the house unless absolutely necessary 😅)

2) My work experience includes being a Senior Digital Marketing Executive at Aftershock PC and an Account Manager at ✨ Now, I’m a freelance Media Buyer working mainly from home 👩🏻‍💻

3) I’m also a full-time content creator! 📱 Some of you might remember me from my days at Titan Digital Media — I’m the “Miss Sherly” girl 😂 But I left Titan a few years ago to explore new adventures 🙌🏻

4) Lately, I’ve been diving into dancing girl style (just started classes a month ago) 💃🏻 It took a lot of courage because I’m literally a potato 🥔, but I’m so glad I did! I’m far from pro, but it’s become a fun hobby that helps me destress 😌

5) I live with my boyfriend, Ryan, and we just moved into our new home! 🏠 It’s still under renovation, but I’m super into home & living content, so stay tuned for more updates on that! ❤️

6) I have two adorable dogs, Mantou and Maki 🐶 Mantou, who I got during Covid, is 4+ years old and the sweetest thing (she sleeps 18 hours a day and barely barks, haha) 🎀 Maki is my wild child! She’s 9 months old, full of energy, and a complete tomboy 😂 I co-parent her with my family, so she’s not always living with me.

7) Skincare is my love language 🥰 I’m obsessed with it and follow a 10-step routine religiously. Prevention is always better than cure, right? 💆🏻‍♀️

8) Korea is my ultimate happy place! ✈️ I aim to visit every year (heading back in December, yay!). I love everything about Korean beauty, food, fashion…basically, if it’s Korean, I’m into it 🇰🇷

9) My top three favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Blackpink, and Olivia Rodrigo 🫶🏻 I’m going to Olivia’s concert in October, so if you see me there, don’t be shy — say hi! 🎤

10) I try to be as transparent as I can online, but I’m also super shy 🥺 You know that feeling when you overshare and later regret it while lying in bed? 😩 Hahaha, that’s me with social media sometimes! I also get a little anxious talking to the camera because I’m not a fan of my high-pitched voice 😅

What I’m really hoping for is that Lemon8 can be my safe, less-pressured space to share all my thoughts, experiences, and product reviews — almost like chatting with my besties! 💭
