How to Write A Rèsumè 🤌

When applying for jobs it's a great idea to add a rèsumè! A resume lists your past job experience, and the basics of what those positions entailed.

Step 1: Write down all of your past jobs and your positions, sum each position up with what you did in each position

Step 2: Choose your format or a template. When looking for a format or template you want Simple minimalistic professional. You don't want something that is blingy, or clashy.

Step 3: Write your Objective Statement. This should be placed at the top of all of your past jobs. An objective statement you are selling yourself to the employer, an example would be "Customer service representative with the ability to complete tasks ontime as well as multi task with customers and phones, filing information approproately, and paying attention to details."

Step 4: Make your rèsumè work experience section. This section lists all of your past jobs, your job title, name of business, and location as well as dates you were employed. Below that information use bullets to list all of your job duties.

Step 5: Create a Skills section, in this section you list all of your skills you have learned throughout your job history such as Cash Management, Management, Collaboration, Training, Advertising, Data collection, you can also add computer skills such as EPIC (used in health care) microsoft word, etc.

Step 6: list your education correctly! If you havent gone to college or vocational school add your high school. If you have gone to college or vocational school add that with your GPA and degree or diploma you recieved. Don't forget to add the locations of the school

Step 7: add any certifications, licensing, or training you paid for

Step 8:Include optional areas on a rèsumè that you see fit. On mine I have "Will send references upon request) now adays businesses and such prefer you to fill those out during the application process but it's a good reminder that you can provide them upon request.

Step 9: Proof Read, Check your format or template, and then save your finished product!
