🚨 Rentals don’t have to be boring! 🚨

A lot of people think that just because you don’t own your home, you can’t do much to personalize the space. That’s not true at all! 🙅‍♀️ There are so many fun ways to add your own personal touch and personality to your home without having to risk not getting your security deposit back.

Here are some things I’ve added to my rentals that made them feel more like a home!

1️⃣ REMOVABLE WALLPAPER & WALL DECALS - especially great for rentals that aren’t paint friendly!

2️⃣ UPGRADE WALL PLATES - swapping out boring light switch and electrical outlet plates are a unique way to add some pizzazz to your space

3️⃣ ADD TEXTURE - layer in colorful and cozy rugs!

Don’t be afraid to forge your own path and not follow typical decorating rules. Decorate how YOU want to and add your own personal touch. 🥰🥰

FYI - if you’re unsure about certain projects, it’s always good to ask your landlord if they’re okay with your ideas!
