I found this cabinet for $10 at a thrift store a few months ago and had to have it. There was something so cute and special about it, I just knew it had potential! 💸🤩

It’s been hanging in my kitchen as-is for a while, but this week I decided to give it an upgrade!

First I sanded it down and threw on a couple coats of paint, but it still needed a little more ykwim? 😉

Earlier this week I saw this clay flower DIY going around Instagram Reels and thought it would be the perfect addition! I didn’t really go into it with a plan, but I love how it turned out 🌼🌼

Here’s how you make the flowers:

🌸 Rip off a palm-sized amount of clay, flatten it out, and squeeze a drop of paint into the center

🌼 Fold the paint into the clay slowly (this can get a little messy!) Add more paint to get desired saturation

🌺 Decide how big you want your flower to be and roll balls of clay all into the same size

🌻 Lightly attach clay balls together in flower shape carefully as not to indent the clay

🌹 Let the flowers sit on a flat surface and dry (only takes about an hour!)
