A guide on which city to visit in Vietnam

I’m a big fan of Vietnam and have gone there multiple times to a few cities so today, I’ll break down some of the more popular cities I have been to give you a better insight as to which city is best for you!

✨Ho chi Minh

- The largest city and economic hub of Vietnam!

- A mix of modern skyscrapers and colonial architecture

- Notable sights you can visit: War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market

✨Hanoi

- Capital city of Vietnam with a rich cultural and historical heritage

- Famous for its traditional architecture, street food and bustling Old Quarter

- Notable sights you can visit: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and Lake of the Restored Sword

✨Hoi An

- A UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved ancient town

- Known for its lantern-lined streets, traditional houses and assembly halls, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge

✨Da nang

- A coastal city in central Vietnam known for its beaches and scenic beauty

- Pretty cosmopolitan and city vibe just like HCM

- Notable sights to visit: Dragon Bridge, Son Tra Peninsula, and the Marble Mountains

I am very into slow living so next up in my list includes Phu Quoc and Dalat and Sapa (although this isn’t exactly a city) 🤩
