RATING MY LIPPIES! 🫦

there’s so many lippies on the market these days! oils, glosses, plumpers, peptides, butters, balms, the list LITERALLY goes on.

here are some ratings on lipped i’ve been trying out lately:

• too faced kissing jelly $22

(shades grape soda & bubblegum)

these are the definition of a non sticky gloss. it’s so comfortable on the lips and some even come with glitter if you like! they come in 6 different fruity scents. they’re so fun and pretty. 5/5

• summer fridays lip butter $24

(shades birthday cake & vanilla beige)

there’s a lot of hype around these but when you finally try one you see exactly why. these feel like satin on your lips and they have so many scents and shades to choose from. i use one for everyday and one to pair with brown lip liners. 5/5

• r.e.m. beauty glossy balm $19

(shades strawberry soda & cherry cola)

im still currently trying to figure out how i feel about these but i find myself reaching for them everyday! they’re pretty thick and sticky. like a true gloss is and should be :) but because they’re thick they last such a long time and so does the shine. but i still think they may be too heavy for me. for now i give them a 3/5

• rhode lip peptide treatment

(shade jellybean)

this is the only lip peptide from rhode that i own but this jelly bean scent is amazing! it also has glitter so if that’s your cup of tea, i’d recommend 100%. it leaves your lips feeling extremely soft but it’s definitely on the glossier side. if you don’t like heavier, sticky formulas i would skip. i use it everyday. the formula has definitely grown on me! 4/5
