1. Cafe Cheong Hyeum (Incheon Airport Terminal 1, Exit 4)

We were super hungry after taking a red eye flight to Korea and I discovered this random cafe while wondering around for food. There were a couple of locals before me who ordered the original salt bread so I decided to try it too and OMG ITโ€™S THE BEST SALT BREAD IVE EATEN. I bought two salt breads to share with my family and we all agreed that itโ€™s amazing. It was crispy yet fluffy. Seeing as that was the first salt bread I tried, I assumed that was the standard but I was wrong. I really wish I had bought more ๐Ÿฅบ Didnโ€™t even take pics cos we didnโ€™t expect it to be so yummy and we literally inhaled it

๐Ÿ’ฐ Price: 3,500 won per piece

2. Jayeondo Salt Bread (went to the one at Ikseon-dong)

I was excited to try this since itโ€™s highly raved everywhere. We managed to order before the queue started forming and waited about 10-15 mins for freshly baked salt bread! This would definitely have been my fave if not for the amazing salt bread at the airport

๐Ÿ’ฐ Price: 12,000 won for a pack of 4

3. Soha Salt Pond (Ikseon-dong)

This place is definitely overrated and Iโ€™m sure people come more for the aesthetics. Firstly, their salt bread taste more like savoury pastries rather than a traditional salt bread. However, I have to say that the mentaiko salt bread I bought was pretty delicious but it didnโ€™t taste like salt bread at all. Also the staff here were pretty rude so it kinda spoilt the experience

๐Ÿ’ฐ Price: Around 4,500-5,000 won (iirc)

4. Honourable mention: Avant+ Bakery (Eulji-ro)

While I didnโ€™t come here specifically for the salt bread, I gave it a try and it was pretty decent for the price. Plus thereโ€™s a whole range of other delectable desserts on offer too!

๐Ÿ’ฐ Price: 2,500 won per piece
