Lavender Bakery Recommendation

I got to know Lavender bakery from years ago.

Before moving to KL.

They are very famous in Johor Bahru.

And now, they are expanding and have so many stores nationwide.

They serve good quality breads and cakes.

My personal favorite is the otak-otak cheese bun.

Soft bun with otak-otak and cheese on top of the bun. Otak-otak is pretty much associated with JB since the southern state was famous for otak-otak Kempas. This otak-otak on the bread is slightly spicy with all the fragrant spices.

Their famous coconut bun is a must try.

Soft bun filled with fragrant sweet coconut filling.

Like the classic roti kelapa, but the upscale version 😬

Then there are Sesame Cream Bun which was chewy and savory with cream filling.

You can taste the savory black sesame in every bite!

Almond Danish is also good. Flaky pastry with almond and caramel drizzle. So good with a cup of coffee.

And the classic butter bun is also what I'll get every time here. Buttery and sweet. Just how I like it!
